There are two calendars here, one’s the social calendar and one’s the wellness calendar, and they’re both full of things to do. And I try and take an exercise class every day because I eat too well, and it makes you feel good, and there’s a variety of classes.

I’m working my way through trying all the different ones because there’s just, there they target different things. On Wednesday morning, before the crowds hit the beach, we’re down at the beach for an hour walking, and it’s just something I look forward to every week.

We wanted to come here because of a new adventure, meet new people. We moved on a Thursday, and with our son’s help by Saturday we were ready to go, and by Monday we were into the exercise groups, and it was very easy to meet people there. Everybody is so friendly.

What we’re concerned about is that we don’t want to move again. We don’t want to have to up and go somewhere.

The nice thing about this place here is you can be taken care of. If we need to go, if we need assisted living, if we need to go to skill nursing, it’s here. We don’t have to do anything else about this.

My husband and I moved about 6 months ago. Finances are an important factor. We we want to be able to, I we’re still young, we want to be able to know that 20 years from now we can still afford to be here, and that’s the the flexibility part.

If I don’t have to pay for those things that I don’t need right now, it’s going to give me the money so that when I do need it, I’ll be able to afford it.

The fact that when I come in the gate in the evening I can park my car right outside my apartment, know that it’s in a secure enclosed area, and I’ve never been at all uncomfortable.

It’s so secure to know that anytime anything might happen, all I’ve got to do is call the security.

We came from a big house, older home where we lived for 38 years, and our goal was never to deal with a roofer, a plumber, a landscaper ever again. We were worn out after 38 years in this older home, and so we are truly enjoying just having the time for ourselves, um.

I compare living here to being on a cruise ship. I really do. The the activities, you can look forward to something every day, and there’s things for him, there’s things for me, there’s things for both of us. We’ve done more unique things since we’ve been here than we had in the past 20 years, I would say, um.

So being maintenance free is just wonderful.

None of us can stop age. If you fall and break a hip and you have surgery, when you come out you need a lot of help, so you can go straight to skilled nursing.

They really give you excellent care, and you know you don’t know what the rest of your life will bring, but as we age the risk factors go up.

I think it’s a really really great place to live, live out your life, and you don’t ever have to move again.

Dining is always something to look forward to here. We have a bistro where you can get light fair, uh wings and uh sliders and other kinds of special sandwiches and soups and uh.

Then we have a formal dining room with white tablecloths and linen napkins and and a five-star restaurant menu and a wonderful chef.
