Senior Living Communities Names Cory Hoots as Vice President of Operations

In this executive leadership role, Hoots will oversee the day-to-day operations of our diverse portfolio, ensuring every community aligns with Senior Living Communities’ core values and strategic objectives.

A Career Built on Excellence Cory’s 15-year journey within Senior Living Communities is a testament to his versatile expertise. His career path includes:
- Director of Facility Services (Initial Role)
- Vice President of Facility Services
- Executive Director at Cascades Verdae (Past 7 years)
During his tenure at Cascades Verdae, a 386-residence Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Cory maintained over 95% occupancy while significantly enhancing Net Operating Income (NOI) and team retention.
In addition to his deep operational knowledge, Cory is a:
- Licensed Mechanical Contractor (North Carolina)
- Graduate of the SLC Evolve Leadership Program
- Certified Senior Living Professional
