Senior Living Communities Names Cory Hoots as Vice President of Operations
Senior Living Communities (SLC) is proud to announce the promotion of Cory Hoots to Vice President of Operations. In this executive leadership role, Hoots will oversee the day-to-day operations of our diverse portfolio, ensuring every community aligns with Senior Living Communities’ core values and strategic objectives.
Putting “People First Always” into practice, Hoots remains committed to the company’s primary guiding principle: People First Always. “I plan to focus on reinforcing our commitment to our team and Members alike,” says Hoots.
A Career Built on Excellence Cory’s 15-year journey within Senior Living Communities is a testament to his versatile expertise. His career path includes:
- Director of Facility Services (Initial Role)
- Vice President of Facility Services
- Executive Director at Cascades Verdae (Past 7 years)
During his tenure at Cascades Verdae, a 386-residence Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Cory maintained over 95% occupancy while significantly enhancing Net Operating Income (NOI) and team retention.
In addition to his deep operational knowledge, Cory is a:
- Licensed Mechanical Contractor (North Carolina)
- Graduate of the SLC Evolve Leadership Program
- Certified Senior Living Professional
In his new role as Vice President of Operations, Hoots is dedicated to leading teams to success while focusing on the company’s objectives.
