Healthcare Benefits
MEDICAL INSURANCE
Senior Living Communities offers an excellent, low-cost medical plan to employees and their family members through United Healthcare. Highlights include: no co-pays and 100% covered preventative care services.
DENTAL INSURANCE
Comprehensive coverage through Guardian for employees and their family members. Preventative services are covered 100% with no deductible.
HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA)
Allows you to contribute pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses. An HSA also helps you build savings for future medical expenses. Company incentives are available for employees who participate in the medical insurance plan and qualify based on company wellness initiatives.
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT
Allows you to contribute pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses. Plan through Rosenfeld Einstein.

Income Protection
VOL. SHORT TERM DISABILITY
Coverage can equal up to 60% of your basic weekly earnings to a maximum of $2,500, through UNUM.
VOL. TERM LIFE INSURANCE
Coverage available for employees and eligible dependents through Guardian.
LONG TERM DISABILITY
Coverage can equal up to 60% of your basic weekly earnings to a maximum of $5,000 through Hartford. Company-paid.
BASIC LIFE INSURANCE
1 times annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000, through Hartford. Company-paid.
ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT
1 times annual salary up to a maximum of $50,000, through Hartford. Company-paid.

Retirement Planning
401(K)
All employees, including per diem, may contribute to a tax-deferred retirement plan through MetLife. Our CEO strongly encourages investing in your future - no matter what stage of your career you are in. And we do our part to help by matching your contributions. Company matching contributions are immediate upon enrollment. Employees are 100% vested in company contributions after only ONE year of service! All new employees are automatically enrolled at a 5% deferral rate. An option to decline is available.

Work/Life Balance
PAID TIME OFF
All team members, including per diem, enjoy the benefits of paid time off (PTO). PTO combines traditional holidays, vacation, personal time, and sick time into one account. PTO is accrued based on length of service, position, and hours worked. There is no maximum accumulation of PTO, so any unused PTO hours may be carried over to the next calendar year. Employees are also provided with the option to cash out a percentage of unused PTO.
